ENGINEERING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK (Buštěhrad)

The commission involved refurbishing and adapting the derelict site of a former precast concrete factory in Buštěhrad for science, research and support for start-up businesses.
On a site measuring approximately 150 × 500 m, the scheme covers the demolition of 23 buildings, the refurbishment of eight and the construction of three new industrial buildings. The refurbished and new buildings primarily accommodate research and production facilities, research laboratories, offices and operational support facilities.

The proposal for a subsequent phase includes four new industrial buildings, a laboratory building, a building for official and representative functions and accommodation.
